Siemens Enterprise Communications Announces Integrated Communications Solution for Mid-Market Businesses

ORLANDO, Fla., March 19, 2013 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Enterprise Connect -- At Enterprise Connect Orlando 2013 today, Siemens Enterprise Communications announced OpenScape Enterprise Express, a single integrated solution package to improve team productivity for mid-sized companies, delivering VoIP, unified communications (UC) and contact center capabilities.

"As organizations of all sizes are working to maximize their productivity, they must update the disconnected and ineffective communications tools that have become commonplace today," said Rick Puskar, Senior Vice President, Global Portfolio Management at Siemens Enterprise Communications. "OpenScape Enterprise Express will help our customers amplify the productivity and effectiveness of teams, whether they are working virtually or not, with VoIP and UC designed specifically for mid-size enterprises." OpenScape Enterprise Express is a complete solution with pre-packaged applications designed for easy installation and support.

Benefits to customers include: -- The integrated package gives mid-size enterprise customers, those with 200-1000 users, the VoIP and UC tools to make employees more productive and responsive to their customers' needs.

-- The all-in-one solution reduces the complexity and risk of introducing a VoIP and UC solution into the enterprise, increasing ROI and reducing TCO, as well as offering streamlined purchasing options.

-- OpenScape Enterprise Express installs quickly, is easy to maintain, is cost-effective and makes the enterprise stronger by taking advantage of the latest UC tools.

"OpenScape Enterprise Express will help to improve the integration of our team, reducing costs and enhancing productivity," said Gilson Pires, IT for Phonoway, a Siemens Enterprise Communications partner in Brazil. "By using features such as presence management and the integration of different medias, such as voice, email and fax, we believe that the performance of our workgroups will be amplified."
