www.TheStock411.com: Hipcricket Introduces New Mobile Ad Units for Brands to Drive Sales, Engagement, and Loyalty

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEW YORK, NY - Hipcricket, Inc. ("Hipcricket"), the one-stop mobile advertising and marketing and subsidiary of Augme Technologies, Inc. ( OTCQB : AUGT ), announced today the release of two new mobile advertising units that provide brands with additional ways to drive sales, engagement, and loyalty through the Company's patented AD LIFE platform.

Scratch & Win and mobile coupons complement Hipcricket's existing innovative ROI-producing ad units within Hipcricket's AD LIFE platform including mobile banners, mobile video, interstitials, rich media, and custom ad units. Each of these units empowers marketers to create, manage and optimize their mobile advertising campaigns throughout the customer engagement lifecycle -- both pre-and post-click -- across all mobile media, including mobile ads, SMS, QR codes, mobile sites, and applications.

The Scratch & Win product combines Hipcricket's AD LIFE platform with its AD SERVE and SiteBuilder product capabilities and sweepstakes engine to turn a mobile device into a "Scratch To Win" card. It provides a unique form of fun, interactivity between brand messaging and the consumer, taking full advantage of the smartphone and tablet's touchscreen capabilities.

A global consumer packaged goods (CPG) company partnered with a distributor to run a Hipcricket Scratch & Win campaign initiated by a text message or QR code.

Incorporation of Scratch & Win technology into the ad unit itself gives brands a powerful tool to immediately engage their audience. The solution's flexibility and adaptability lend itself well to other use case scenarios including scratch to reveal a new product launch, expose a secret message, unlock clues, answer trivia and many other types of imaginative and engaging situations.

Hipcricket's new mobile advertising coupon ad unit replaces the clumsiness of hunting and storing paper coupons with digitally accessible offers right from the ad unit to their mobile device. The mobile coupons can be as basic as an all-purpose code or as advanced as a single-use promotion code (SUPC).

"The introduction of these innovative ad units adds to the impressive utility of our AD LIFE platform and gives brands more flexibility and creativity in reaching customers and prospects," said Doug Stovall, Hipcricket Executive Vice President, Sales and Services. "Each of Hipcricket's solutions are turnkey from strategy to execution and post click analytics. We continue to provide innovative creative solutions to help our partners build brand awareness and drive sales through mobile advertising."
