ConverterTechnology Appoints Shawn Allaway CEO

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NASHUA, NH -- (Marketwire) -- 02/21/13 -- ConverterTechnology, provider of software and services to help enterprises upgrade to new versions of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows without the risks, costs, productivity loss, and headaches that typically arise from enterprise deployments, announces the appointment of Shawn Allaway to CEO.


After serving as the company's president for nearly two and half years, during which time revenues increased by nearly 100%, achieved profitability and released two new products, Allaway in his new position will continue to expand ConverterTechnology's market leadership position through diversification and strategic partnerships. The company will continue to focus on product and service development as its customer portfolio expands beyond Fortune 1000 companies to include small and medium businesses. Additionally, he will look for opportunities to expand inorganically to achieve rapid growth.

In early 2009, Allaway joined ConverterTechnology vice president, sales & operations, and 2010 was promoted to president. Allaway oversaw double-digit revenue growth and expansion of a global partnership program. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as a worldwide leader in file management technology and services.

Before joining ConverterTechnology, Allaway was vice president at NWN Corporation, a value added reseller and systems integrator as a Microsoft Gold, Cisco Gold and HP Platinum partner. Under his direction, he increased revenue by more than 400 percent in two years. Allaway also served as the general manager of Microsoft Dynamics for Navint Consulting where he led sales, marketing and operational efforts for New England's largest Microsoft Dynamics value added reseller.

Allaway graduated from Northeastern University in 1991 with a dual degree in accounting and finance.
