ViaSat Selects Radisys' T-Series ATCA Platform for Next Generation Network Deployments

HILLSBORO, Ore. --(Business Wire)--

Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), a market leader enabling wireless infrastructure solutions, today announced that ViaSat Inc. is using its T-Series ATCA platform for ViaSat's (News - Alert) next generation satellite-based broadband infrastructure. Radisys' T-Series ATCA platform is enabling ViaSat to meet its time-to-market, performance and capacity targets. ViaSat's satellite-based broadband infrastructure and service provides in excess of 12Mbps Internet connectivity for land and in the air connections, with web page download times comparable to fiber access.
