Webgistix® Introduces SmartStock™ for eCommerce Retailers

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--

Webgistix Corporation, the worldwide leader in eCommerce order fulfillment, today launched Webgistix SmartStock™ for eCommerce retailers. The solution accelerates processing of inbound deliveries at Webgistix fulfillment centers so merchandise is recognized as being in stock and available for sale to online buyers the same day.

SmartStock is a combination of technology and services that streamlines the inbound inventory process. SmartStock ensures inventory levels are updated and merchandise is ready for sale shortly after arriving at a Webgistix fulfillment center.

"SmartStock is a continuation of our mission to empower eRetailers with technology and logistics solutions that give them a competitive advantage in the global marketplace," said Joseph DiSorbo, CEO of Webgistix. "We're focused on helping eRetailers incrase order fill rates, which increases customer satisfaction and repeat business. Quick inbound inventory turnaround helps our eRetail clients optimize their supply chains and minimize inventory, which means improved cash flow and increased sales."

SmartStock is the latest addition to Webgistix's suite of smart solutions that empower eRetailers to deliver an equivalent to Amazon Prime service levels while maintaining a retailer's independence and brand.

  • SmartFill™ is Webgistix's industry-leading eCommerce fulfillment platform for eRetailers to outsource and automate eCommerce order fulfillment while selling across multiple channels and maintaining complete control over the fulfillment process.
  • SmartFreight™ is an innovative service for managing an eRetailer's inbound inventory movement from global manufacturers and distributors to Webgistix's worldwide network of fulfillment centers.

Webgistix smart services are the foundation of the Webgistix 2-Day delivery model, allowing eRetailers to reach 98 percent of U.S. consumers within one to two days via ground delivery, matching Amazon Prime. Webgistix smart services integrate with all major shopping carts and eCommerce platforms, including Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), eBay (News - Alert) (Nasdaq: EBAY) and Google (Nasdaq: GOOG), providing eRetailers with maximum flexibility to sell across multiple channels as they grow their businesses.
