Analyst Jeff Kagan Congratulates C Spire Wireless on 25 Years

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 11, 2013 The Sun Herald ran a piece titled, C Spire Celebrates 25 Years.

Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan comments on this milestone.

“C Spire Wireless is celebrating 25 years of service as a wireless company. They were the fourth carrier to offer the Apple iPhone,” says Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan.

“They changed their name to C Spire Wireless from Cellular South in 2011. They launched service 25 years ago in Gulfport with the first call between Archie Manning, former Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints quarterback, and Trent Lott, then US Representative. The first call on their network was made Feb. 4, 1988. C Spire has grown to be a leader in the technology of mobile computing,” according to Kagan.

“I have followed C Spire and remain impressed how they have a quality, hometown relationship with their customers. They seem to marry cutting edge technology, high quality and a comfortable feel,” says Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan.

“C Spire has grown from a small company with a handful of employees, to the ninth-largest wireless provider in the US with nearly one million subscribers. And they are still a family and employee owned company. That’s impressive as they compete with the nations largest competitors,” Kagan says.
