TeleWare Invest in Hosted Telephony Monitoring; ~ Being proactive in ensuring TeleWare have the tools to be reactive ~

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) North Yorkshire, UK - - TeleWare, the leading provider of communications solutions for mobile and distributed workers, today announced that their new Palladion system for Network monitoring is fully operational.

TeleWare has created a dedicated team whose primary role is network and platform management and fault resolution. The team provides testing and technical support and consists of a combination of technical support engineers and technical engineers working side by side.

To support the new team, TeleWare has made heavy investments in SIP-specific monitoring applications for SIP telephony traffic. The software allows the monitoring of devices in the network for responsiveness and builds on tools previously deployed which enhance the available services for network monitoring.

"There are lots of products available for generic network monitoring," explained Paul Millar, Technical Director for TeleWare Plc. "but Palladion is geared to the SIP hosted telephony world. It allows us to rapidly find calls and traces and address call quality issues. With Palladion, we can also monitor thresholds on the platform and monitor and set alerts against pre-set platform performance parameters.

Further developments to the Network Operations Centre are planned as the team are continually evaluating new tools that could enhance the levels of service TeleWare can offer from the platform.

"We need to be proactive in ensuring we have the tools to be reactive and effective in ensuring the TeleWare platform meets our large business customers' expectations. Future plans are in place for a purposed-built network monitoring centre. Having the dedicated team allows us to focus on these important areas," added Miller.
