Howard Dickel becomes CEO of BT Conferencing

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BT today announced that Howard Dickel has become CEO of BT Conferencing.

Dickel has been with BT for six years, most recently as client partner for BT's London 2012 Delivery Programme, in which he led the rollout of communications services for one of the most ambitious and complex IT projects in the world.


BT Conferencing provides audio, video and web conferencing and collaboration services for corporate customers in the UK and around the world. It is one of six standalone businesses that make up BT Enterprises, each of which operates as a separate business.

Dickel takes leadership of BT Conferencing at a time when it has firmly established itself as a global leader in the provision of world-class services. BT Conferencing is one of the largest and fastest growing Collaboration Service Providers (CSPs) in the world with more than 47,000 customers in 170 countries worldwide, including 54 of the Fortune 100 companies and with more than one million end users.

BT Conferencing owns and manages its own technology and has partnerships with organisations such as Cisco and Polycom, which means its conferencing solutions can work for businesses of all sizes and sectors. It offers customised collaboration solutions geared towards a customer's individual requirements, infrastructure and business objectives.

He has held leadership positions at various companies including IBM, Netforce Group, United Utilities and Great Universal Stores.
