BRIEF: County Supervisor Glover seeks applicants for panels

Jan 22, 2013 (The Oakland Tribune - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Contra Costa County Supervisor Federal Glover seeks residents to serve on advisory panels in several unincorporated communities in his District V.

There are openings on the following panels due to expiration of terms and resignations: --County Service Area M-16 Citizens Advisory Committee, in Clyde.

--Crockett-Carquinez Fire Protection Commission; the Crockett-Carquinez fire district covers Crockett, Port Costa and Tormey.

--Pacheco Municipal Advisory Council.

--County Service Area R-10 Citizen Advisory Committee, in Rodeo.


--Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council.

Panel members are appointed by the county Board of Supervisors based on the recommendation of the District V supervisor. Interested individuals should contact Glover's office at 925-335-8200 for more information or to obtain an application form. Completed applications must be received in Glover's office by the close of business Feb. 1.
