netCORE Enables Brands to Unleash the True Potential of Mobile Marketing

MUMBAI, Jan 21, 2013 (PR Newswire Europe via COMTEX) -- MUMBAI, January 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Result-driven and Customized Mobile Marketing Campaigns for Brands Like HUL, India Against Corruption and Colgate Have Been Recognized by IAMAI, MMA and MOBBY's netCORE Solutions, a leading provider of technology platform and consultancy services for marketing and communications over email and mobile (www.netcore.co.in [http://www.netcore.co.in ]), has bagged 2 awards at the 3rd India Digital Summit hosted by Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in New Delhi on Thursday, 17th Jan 2013. This makes its tally of awards to a total of 5 in the last six months, with the previous two awards being MOBBY's and one in MMA SMARTIES India.

The two IAMAI Awards won by netCORE were for the categories of Best Mobile Voice Advertising or Marketing Campaign for Hindustan Unilever Ltd. - Active Wheel and Best Digital Integrated Campaign for India Against Corruption.

The Hindustan Unilever's Active Wheel campaign was aimed at reaching consumers in towns and villages with a population of less than 10 thousand. The mobile medium helped reach these consumers by using a tool as simple as missed calls.

On giving a missed call to the advertised toll-free number, consumers received a voice call-back with humorous and engaging content from a repository. There was an element of surprise interweaved with the fresh content every time they called, which got these consumers excited, and resulted in multiple calls from them.

This campaign has become HUL's most successful marketing campaign for mobile in the entire Asia Pacific region. Recent results from 3rd party research have shown that close to 84% people touched by the campaign, even months after the campaign, associated the Wheel brand with the campaign, and there was a 95% increase in spontaneous awareness of Wheel after the campaign.

The India Against Corruption Campaign launched gained enormous support for its anti-corruption movement through viral marketing. The campaign was launched with a missed call number to garner responses which was advertised on website and social media. The campaign reached out to 80 million people through SMS campaign and received 25 million missed calls within 180 days. It grew virally with each person forwarding 3 SMSes on an average to their friends, acquaintances and relatives.

netCORE had previously won awards at Mobby's 2012 and Smarties India 2012 for Colgate Active Salt Taste Challenge 2012.

Commenting on these awards, Girish Nair, CEO of netCORE said, "We undertook disproportionate efforts to understand the brands' needs and make these campaigns successful. We went deep into understanding the brand's evolution & devised a logical consumer flow to get the best results, constantly driving towards achieving and optimizing brand objectives. It gives us immense joy to see our efforts being appreciated and recognized by industry and more importantly by our clients." Kalpit Jain, COO of netCORE, added, "It's always good to get appreciated for your hard work and it's certainly a bonus to be recognized by our industry peers. A warm thank you to the entire jury as well. netCORE Solutions is overwhelmed with this reception and we will continue to provide innovative solutions through our Mobile & Email based marketing and communication platform." These success stories of well-known brands prove that mobile as a marketing medium has immense potential and if used effectively can help maximize the impact of campaigns by 20x times.
