OTTAWA, ONTARIO, Dec 21, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Event: Canadian Food Inspection Agency Technical Briefing: Update on Cardinal Meat Specialists Beef Products Recall When: December 21, 2012 at 15 :00 (EDT) Present: Barbara Jordan, Associate Vice President, Operations, CFIA Dr. Martine Dubuc, Chief Food Safety Officer for Canada, CFIA Dr. Frank Plummer, Chief Science Officer / Scientific Director General - National Microbiology Laboratory, PHAC Dr. Gregory Taylor, Deputy Chief Public Officer, PHAC Dr. Mark Raizenne, Director General, PHAC CFIA representatives will be on hand to provide an update on the recall of beef products that were produced by Establishment 752, Cardinal Meat Specialists Limited. Officials from the Public Health Agency of Canada will also provide a brief statement related to the recall and will be available to media.
