Azlan is first to ship ground-breaking HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 to UK channel

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Azlan, the enterprise networking division of Computer 2000, part of the Tech Data Group, has completed what is thought to be the first sale of HPs newly-launched 3PAR StoreServ 7000 advanced storage system.

The StoreServ 7200 Array has been purchased by a leading HP reseller, Strawberry Global Technology. Alex Brown, Managing Director of the company, said: We are very pleased to have taken our first order for the new 3PAR 7000 Array. The HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 was launched officially only last week. Azlan had previously hosted a special preview of the much-heralded system in London at the end of November. The event was over-subscribed and Azlan has since received a flood of enquiries.

Nigel Dunn, Director of Azlan UK and Ireland, expects this to the first of many orders that Azlan receives for the arrays. By bringing Fibre Channel technology and Tier 1 features within the reach of SMB customers for the first time, the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 breaks new ground.
