McAfee (News - Alert) today announced the release of an enhanced version of McAfee® Mobile Security featuring App Lock, an innovative new app privacy technology, as well as a completely refreshed user interface. The enriched and all-inclusive security solution provides Android (News - Alert) smartphone and tablet users with the power to ensure that the personal information living inside their mobile apps remains personal and protected.

Some of the most commonly used apps on the Android platform such as Facebook, LinkedIn (News - Alert) and Gmail don't necessarily require a log-in each time they're launched. App Lock, which is now a part of McAfee's app protection arsenal, safeguards against this privacy danger.
