ID Media SVP, Director of Human Resources Ranks as a 2012 Workforce Magazine HR 'Game Changer'

Dec 07, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Danielle Dorter, SVP, Director of Human Resources at ID Media, an Interpublic Group media agency, has been named an HR "Game Changer" by Workforce Management.

According to a release, the magazine, published by Crain Communications, this week announced the winners of its second annual "Game Changers" awards, which honor innovative and dynamic HR and workplace management professionals under age 40. The publication reaches senior-level HR professionals and C-suite executives at 2,500 of corporations in America.


Since joining ID Media in 2010, Danielle, a member of the agency's Executive Committee, has kicked off a variety of initiatives to cultivate workplace and leadership talent. She launched "Open Options," a program that helps employees explore career options in different departments. She has also fostered agency on-the-job and managerial skills development via new monthly training seminars, such as "Effective Communication," "Generations in the Workplace," "Performing Constructive Employee Appraisals" and "Interview Skills Training." Such initiatives have increased employee retention and workplace satisfaction. In 2012, ID Media was honored with its fifth "Best Places to Work" award (from the Los Angeles Business Journal) and its fifth MERGE award (from parent company IPG) for cultivating workplace diversity and inclusion ID Media CEO Lynn Fantom, said, "As a company specializing in accountable media services, we're known as innovative game changers. I am very pleased that, through Danielle's leadership, that quality also applies to how we cultivate talent." Dorter began her HR career at the New York Public Library. During the dot-com boom, she worked as HR Manager at multimedia start-up company Vault.com. On the agency side, she's served as HR Manager at Euro RSCG Life, and WPP-owned G2, where she rose from Associate HR Director to VP, HR Director. In 2012, she was promoted to SVP at ID Media.
