Identigene Redesigns DNA Paternity Testing Website

Salt Lake City, Utah, Dec 06, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- Identigene recently launched a newly designed company website http://www.DNAtesting.com. Since 1993, Identigene has been a leader in DNA paternity testing. The company was the first to offer DNA paternity tests directly to consumers for purchase online. Identigene is also the first and only DNA test kit sold in drugstores and supercenters--over 26,000 of them nationwide. The new website focuses on the consumer experience, with straightforward product information and informational videos.

The new home page offers access to eleven videos, each addressing a common question about DNA paternity testing. Topics run the gamut from a simple "How To" video to special requirements for residents of New York, to DNA paternity testing for immigration purposes The new site also gives customers quicker access to test results via a prominent log-in feature on the home page. Identigene says "Find a Store", "Buy Online", and "One Day Rush Processing" icons on the home page are proving popular with users. In a nod to the company's online community, the home page features links to Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

Steve Smith, Executive Director, says the company wants to help clients beyond just taking a DNA test. He explains, "The "Resources" tab on our home page provides access to the DNA testing blog, Genetipedia (an encyclopedia-like information source covering the history of DNA and where the science is today), frequently asked questions, customer reviews and even offers links to local counseling services." Smith says Identigene hopes the newly designed website will showcase the company's dedication to staying current with the ever-changing digital world as well as provide customers with a stress-free, user-friendly environment. "We are extremely satisfied with our new website," says Smith, "Any person who is curious about DNA testing can obtain all the needed information directly from our site." About Identigene Identigene is a global leader in DNA paternity testing, providing both personal and legal paternity tests, as well as grandparent, sibling and other relationship tests. Identigene is the first and only paternity test kit available on the retail shelf, and can be purchased in nearly 25,000 drugstores and supercenters nationwide.
