Neoris Restructures Latin American Operations, Creates New South America Region

MIAMI & BUENOS AIRES, Argentina --(Business Wire)--

Neoris, a global business and IT consulting company that specializes in SAP (News - Alert) and application outsourcing, today announces that it will restructure all its operations in Latin America, except Mexico, into a newly created South America Region. The streamlined South America Region will integrate the existing Latin American Cluster (LAC) and Brazil operations under the leadership of seasoned industry expert Martín Méndez.

Martín Méndez brings to this new assignment more than 16 years of experience in IT management and business process consulting. Since 2000, he has held different roles within the company, first as Leader for Neoris' operations in Argentina, later as President of the Southern Cone Region. Until this newest appointment, Mendez served as President of the Latin America Cluster that includes Neoris' operations in all Latin American countries except Mexico. As part of the restructuring, Méndez will now also be responsible for operations in South America's largest economy-Brazil.

"Mendez has a proven track record in the consulting business and with him at helm we will continue to drive growth and development in South America, a strategic market for Neoris," said Claudio Muruzábal, CEO of Neoris.

The decision to restructure the region is aligned with the overall strategic plan of the company to strengthen the core business units, while maintaining optimum productivity. As part of its Global Delivery Model, Neoris builds and deploys solutions serving as an extension of the client's existing team. This unique approach allows Neoris to have direct access to the client's business and leverage solutions with a Latin touch. The restructured operations in the South America Region will enable Neoris to offer award-winning, value-added services and maintain strategic partnerships with clients for all their critical processes.

"The new South America region is a product of the realities in the marketplace, the demands of our clients and growing trends in the industry to foster business agility and maximize sustainable growth," said Martin Mendez, President of the South America Region for Neoris.

In June, Neoris announced that it was ranked among Latin America's top IT consultancies based on aggregate revenue, growth and market share, according to IDC's (News - Alert) Latin America Semiannual IT Services Tracker 2011. Neoris ranked first overall in Mexico, climbed four notches in Brazil and maintained strong performance throughout the region, outperforming more than 150 other IDC-ranked companies in IT consulting.
