Robert Condon to Lead Lemko Europe (EMEA)

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., June 27, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Lemko Corporation today announced the appointment of Robert Condon as President of Lemko Europe (EMEA). Lemko is the leader in the development and deployment of GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and LTE solutions utilizing an all IP, distributed mobile wireless networks (DiMoWiNe) architecture.

As President of Lemko Europe, Condon hopes to build a foundation from which the company will be able to significantly expand its presence with European carriers and private network operators. Lemko welcomes Condon with high expectations for the results that his leadership and management skills will bring.

"Robert is the ideal executive to lead Lemko's customers to a new generation of network solutions. We are honored to have Robert onboard with us and are excited to have him launch Lemko in Europe," said Nicholas Labun, CEO of Lemko Corporation.

Condon has a successful history of accomplishments in the telecommunication industry which, among others, includes President and Chief Operating Officer of Comcast BroadNet, who built one of the largest pan-European broadband wireless operations; founder of Atlantic Telecom, a fixed wireless access and cable television company listed on the UK stock exchange; managing director of Hutchison Telecom UK, where he was instrumental in the company's incredible growth as a cellular operator. Mr. Condon began his career at International Cable and Wireless Group, where he served as Director of Mobile Services. Cable and Wireless own multiple fixed/wireless operations worldwide.

Lemko is the leading provider of DiMoWiNe (Distributed Mobile Wireless Network) solutions that change the way mobile operators maintain and develop voice, SMS and data businesses over 2G, 3G and 4G broadband networks. Lemko provides an entire cellular system powered by an all IP mobile infrastructure which includes radio access equipment as well as virtualized 2G, 3G and LTE core network functionality. The virtualized core functionality (including EPC, IMS, VoLTE, policy control, multimedia telephony (MMTel) and data off-load) sits at each RAN site with immediate connection to the cloud for delivery of voice, SMS, data and broadband functionality.

This approach lowers up-front capital expense and dramatically lowers on-going operational expenses. The company's market leading solutions are deployed with Tier 3 as well as Tier 1 carriers, and government and military private network operators. Lemko is headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA.
