VOXDATA Selects Interactive Intelligence Unified IP Business Communications Solution

INDIANAPOLIS & MONTREAL --(Business Wire)--

VOXDATA Solutions Inc., a provider of outsourced contact center services, has selected Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) Group Inc.'s (Nasdaq: ININ) all-in-one IP communications software suite, Customer Interaction Center (CIC), for use throughout its organization.

VOXDATA selected CIC for its broad feature-set, streamlined architecture, and ease-of-integration, according to VOXDATA's vice president of IT, Mohannad Jnaid.

"CIC will give us new blended dialing and call recording features, along with the ability to route and queue Web chats, emails and SMS messages," Jnaid said. "Its architecture will also enable us to more easily support our distributed offices, as well as incorporate work-at-home agents."

Before selecting CIC, VOXDATA had narrowed its decision to Aspect, Avaya, Interactive Intelligence and ShoreTel (News - Alert).

"As we reviewed these products, we paid close attention to how well they would integrate with our proprietary CRM system," Jnaid said. "CIC's open software architecture proved most effective for our planned integration, plus no other vendor offered so many applications running on a single platform. Its simplicity really set it apart from the competition."

In addition to CIC, VOXDATA purchased a business process automation add-on application, Interaction Process Automation (IPA). It selected IPA, n part, to facilitate better tracking of ISO and PCI (News - Alert) standards.

"IPA will enable us to automate, track and report on work items so we can better adhere to compliance requirements, while increasing operational efficiencies," Jnaid said.

VOXDATA purchased CIC through Interactive Intelligence Canadian reseller, i3Vision Technologies (www.i3vision.ca), which will also manage the deployment.

"i3Vision was responsive to our questions throughout the sales cycle and they took the time to get to know our business," Jnaid said. "Because they listened, they were able to effectively match our objectives with the best technology solution."

CIC will support all of VOXDATA's 500 employees located at its offices in Montréal and Toronto. In addition to supporting its contact center, CIC will give VOXDATA's business users functionality for IP PBX (News - Alert), voice mail, unified messaging, auto-attendant, conferencing, presence management and desktop faxing.
