BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. GE, RAD, CSCO, ARNA, BX, QQQ, Highest Net Buy Volume With Lowest Price Friction For Friday, April 27th 2012

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3782 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3566 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2150 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY (NYSE:GE), RITE AID CORP (NYSE:RAD), CISCO SYSTEMS INCORPORATED (NASDAQ:CSCO), ARENA PHARMACEUTICALS INC (NASDAQ:ARNA), BIOX Corp (NYSE:BX), (NASDAQ:QQQ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction GE $0.130 0.65% 12,286,775 36.21% 8,998,521 26.52% 3,288,254 252,943 RAD $0.040 2.78% 4,741,456 46.33% 1,710,969 16.72% 3,030,487 757,622 CSCO $0.380 1.94% 27,299,186 58.37% 18,752,713 40.10% 8,546,473 224,907 ARNA $0.470 21.86% 17,609,567 53.34% 15,383,239 46.59% 2,226,328 47,369 BX $0.190 1.44% 4,270,100 46.33% 1,223,432 13.27% 3,046,668 160,351 QQQ $0.310 0.47% 23,500,602 51.24% 21,596,193 47.09% 1,904,409 61,433 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows GE with a Net Buy Volume of 3,288,254 shares and a Friction Factor of 252,943 shares. That means that it takes 252,943 more shares of buying than selling to move GE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
