OnMobile's Media Solutions Selected to Enhance Rogers One Number Service

TORONTO --(Business Wire)--

OnMobile Global Limited, the leading provider of telecom value-added services (VAS), today announced their role in the recent launch of Rogers One Number™ for Rogers wireless customers in Canada. Rogers Communications, Canada's largest wireless provider is the first operator to roll out a comprehensive communications oriented launch pad for a variety of communication services across video, messaging, and voice.

OnMobile (News - Alert) has provided the Rogers One Number service with several media solutions including the Network Address Book (NAB), Social Network Gateway (SNG), PhoneBackup and PhoneBook clients as well as its Video Gateway (News - Alert) solutions to help deliver a new, secure and convenient way to talk, text or email family and friends, using a customer's existing Rogers wireless number. OnMobile's Network Address Book solution and its other value-added services ensure the widest interoperability and reliability.

With Rogers One Number, eligible Rogers wireless customers are able to:

  • Talk and text from a computer using an existing Rogers wireless numer
  • Manage emails and text messages from the secure and personalized Rogers One Number website
  • Sync and combine all contacts across a mobile phone and computer
  • Switch calls seamlessly between computer and wireless device without interruption
  • Call any Canadian number for free using their personal computers, from anywhere in the world that they have an internet connection
