All Green Electronics Recycling Gets Certified, Recognized in Tech Industry for High Standards in E-Waste Management-e-Stewards, ISO 14001 and R2

TUSTIN, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

All Green Electronics Recycling, a leading electronics recycler specializing in secure IT asset disposition and data destruction services, has received three major certifications representing high standards in service and practice: e-Stewards, ISO 14001 and R2. e-Stewards Certification and R2 (Responsible Recycling), help generators of electronic waste identify companies that ensure that all assets will be reused or recycled in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.

All Green Electronics Recycling's completion of these certifications comes on the heels of new federal directives requiring all e-waste generated by federal agencies and by U.S. government contractors working with taxpayer-subsidized electronics to be directed to certified electronics recyclers. All Green's certifications ensure the highest standards for responsible processing, including a guarantee that e-waste does not end up in landfills, sensitive data is destroyed and workers are protected.

Arman Sadeghi, CEO of All Green, said he was inspired to enter the e-waste business in 2008 after seeing the 60-Minutes episode where the Basel Action Network (BAN) exposed the horrors of U.S. exported e-waste poisoning people and the environment in developing countries. "Arman contacted me asking what he could do to help address this issue and here now is All Green Electronics Recycling, delivering responsible e-waste management services," said Jim Puckett, Executive Director of BAN which established the e-Stewards initiative.

Only a small number of e-waste recyclers in the world hold the distinction of multiple certifications by a third-party audit. All Green Electronics Recycling serves government and commercial entities nationally and operates trucks in 48 states. Companies can request pickup services directly at www.AllGreenRecycling.com and consumers can find a list of drop off locations.

"These third-party audits hold our e-waste recycling and data destruction practices to the highest standards and underscore our mission to process end of life electronics responsibly," explained Arman Sadeghi, CEO of All Green Electronics Recycling. "They also ensure that our health and safety policies go well beyond those required by law. When you consider the new U.S. federal directives and the increased pace in which technology advances, this is near perfect timing in earning these rigorous certifications."
