Direct Insite Supplies E-Invoicing Portal to Information Technology Services Provider [Manufacturing Close - Up]

(Manufacturing Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Direct Insite, a provider of cloud-based e-invoicing solutions for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payments automation, announced that it has deployed its Invoices On-Line (IOL) AP automation portal in the shared services environment of a North American information technology services provider.

According to a release on April 16, in support of the AP Portal, Direct Insite will provide supplier e-invoicing adoption and vendor boarding services.

The company is using Direct Insite's Invoices On-Line Web portal to automate critical AP processes, including, invoice scan/capture, electronic invoice receipt, supplier registration and inquiry, electronic invoice validation and reporting. There are immediate tangible benefits to the client, including significantly reducing paper invoice handling and costs and reducing the number of telephone inquiries from its suppliers regarding invoice and payment status.

Direct Insite's Invoices On-Line solution also leverages the significant investment made by the information technology services provider in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system from SAP. Direct Insite's integration with SAP was a critical factor in the company's decision to select Direct Insite.
