Business Wire announced that Maria Van Wambeke been has promoted to Vice President, Product Development & Integration at Business Wire.

Van Wambeke has more than 13 years of experience at Business Wire and has lead the product development effort for projects including enhancements to Business Wire's online client interface, BW Connect and it's measurement suite, BW NewsTrak. In addition, Van Wambeke has played a critical role in the development of key automation systems for Business Wire's editorial department, and the highly successful online newsroom products, NewsHQ and InvestorHQ. Business Wire's EON: Enhanced Online News service, Press Release Builder tools, BW Mobile apps, products and sites, and the upcoming Smart Marketing Page all benefited from Van Wambeke's influence.

Her promotion to Vice President is a recognition of the growing role Van Wambeke plays in Business Wire's product strategy and development. She reports to Laura Sturaitis, Executive Vice President of Media Services & Product Strategy.
