Calysto Communications to Offer Free Marketing Consultations to Mobile and Telecom Players at International CTIA WIRELESS(R) 2012

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- Calysto Communications, a global social and traditional public relations (PR) firm specializing in communications technologies, today announced it will help 15 lucky companies figure out how they can leverage marketing, PR, and social media strategies to take their businesses to the next level during a free "Advise-A-Palooza" event at International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012 in New Orleans.

Over two days, Calysto will conduct customized, no-obligation marketing and communications consulting sessions with 15 pre-selected companies of various sizes operating in the wireless domain. The 45-minute meetings will take place Monday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. EDT and Tuesday, May 8 EDT from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EDT in a Calysto-branded Hummer® stretch limousine stationed outside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the site of this year's show.

During the consultations, multiple Calysto executive-level PR and social media experts will assist companies in brainstorming ideas and strategies on how they can leverage corporate communications and product marketing campaigns to achieve specific business and marketing objectives.

Companies interested in scheduling consultations with Calysto can obtain the application questionnaire by sending a request to adviseapalooza@calysto.com. The deadline for the submission of all applications is Friday, April 27, at 4 p.m. EDT. Calysto will notify qualified candidates by May 1. In the questionnaire, companies are asked to share their PR goals and challenges so the Calysto team can provide appropriate advice to meet their particular needs.

"Both the wireless industry and the PR world have become a lot more complex since I launched Calysto as the first telecom and wireless-focused PR agency 13 years ago. Since then, we've helped many companies adapt to those changes and leverage many communication disciplines, including media and analyst relations, thought leadership, and social media, to accomplish their goals," said Laura Borgstede, Calysto's CEO. "Although both the communications technology industry and the PR profession have evolved dramatically, our mission at Calysto remains the same: We connect, energize and influence people in communications technology through communications. The 'Advise-A-Palooza' we're holding at International CTIA WIRELESS is just one example of our continuing dedication to this industry and this mission." Some of the Calysto professionals offering counseling during the Advise-A-Palooza are: Laura Borgstede, Calysto CEO. Laura Borgstede has more than 20 years' executive management and public relations experience.
