DecisionPoint Systems Expands Field Mobility Practice With the Appointment of Brendan Scanlan as Director of Carrier Relations

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA, Apr 16, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- DecisionPoint Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: DPSI), a leading enterprise mobility and RFID systems integrator, today announced the appointment of Brendan Scanlan as Director of Carrier Relations, a new position at the company. Mr. Scanlan joins the Field Mobility team providing leadership in the company's bundled Enterprise solutions strategy.

Mr. Scanlan, 40, has over 13 years of strategic business development and sales leadership experience working in wireless broadband carrier and application organizations. Mr. Scanlan spent almost eight years with T-Mobile USA -- most recently as one of the originators of T-Mobile's Business Partner Sales Channel. Based in Seattle, WA, Brendan was responsible for all enterprise and mid-market business solution sales in the Western U.S. between industry-specific VAR partners and T-Mobile's direct business sales channel.

Prior to his position at T-Mobile, Mr. Scanlan was Director of Business Development at Cometa Networks, which was a Bellevue, WA-based company founded by Intel, AT&T and IBM, that deployed enterprise-grade Wi-Fi broadband access in major retail and real estate locations in the 50 largest U.S. markets.
