BigMachines Appoints Thomas P. Padgett Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Alliances

CHICAGO, IL, Apr 13, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- BigMachines, Inc., the leader in product configuration, pricing and quoting, proposal generation and B2B ecommerce, today announced it has appointed Thomas P. Padgett as senior vice president of worldwide sales and alliances, a key role on the company's leadership team.


Padgett will be responsible for building and leading BigMachines' global sales team and developing the company's strategic partner relationships.

Most recently, he held the position of North American vice president of sales and operations at Adobe Systems, where he led the team responsible for selling Adobe's enterprise offerings into the financial services industry. Prior to Adobe, he was group vice president for Business Objects, an SAP company, where he was instrumental in driving quarterly revenue in support of specific budget targets. Before joining Business Objects, he was a senior partner at Beacon Worldwide, a management consulting firm that helps large organizations develop, implement and directly benefit from sales best practices. Padgett also held various senior sales and management positions of increasing responsibility at InstallShield, Complete Business Solutions, Inc. (CBSI) and NCR Corporation. Padgett earned a bachelor's degree in business from Indiana University, Bloomington.
