CentralParQ Software and Interra Systems Announce Technical Partnership at NAB

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--

Content owners are reaching their audiences on a growing number of devices and platforms. They are demanding new tools to ensure that all files are continuously checked in order to be of perfect quality on every device consumers are now using. They need to track audience sizes and revenue that a specific platform or device has generated.

CentralParQ Software is unveiling "VoD Office" at NAB 2012. This video-on-demand management system publishes the owner's content to all the leading devices. Each platform is continuously monitored for video playback performance. VoD Office also keeps track of all important rights usage and audience data.

CentralParQ software has selected Baton™ from Interra (News - Alert) Systems for its superior quality control of all created files across multiple platforms. Peter Bruggink, CTO CentralParQ Software, explains. "We're part of one of Europe's largest group of digital production companies. We know that the key to success for content owners is the viewer experience. It has to be perfect on all platforms. Baton™ provides us an automated QC platform to ensure that all created files are checked. With the growing multi-screen environment, this has to be automated in a reliable, cost-effective way."

VoD Office hosts the complete management backend for all multi-screen publishing frontends, including tablet, OTT set-top box and connected TV. VoD Office is flexible so that content can be delivered to any new device connected to any CDN as soon as it becomes available.

Ashish Basu, Vice Presidet Global Sales and Business Development: "CentralParQ software is working with many of the leading multi-media content publishers in Europe. As new screens become important alongside traditional TV and cinema, maintaining a consistent technical quality on all these devices is key to customer satisfaction. We're delighted that, as they launch world-wide, CentralParQ has become an Interra technical partner, integrating our solution into their new VOD management system."
