BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. BAC, MSFT, ORCL, NWSA, VALE, WSRA, Highest Net Buy Volume With Lowest Price Friction For Thursday, April 12th 2012

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 3510 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4389 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1809 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), MICROSOFT CORPORATION (NASDAQ:MSFT), Oracle Corp (NASDAQ:ORCL), News Corp (NASDAQ:NWSA), Vale SA (NYSE:VALE), WESTERN SIERRA MINING CORP (OTC:WSRA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction BAC $0.300 3.39% 75,720,026 34.57% 66,157,405 30.21% 9,562,621 318,754 MSFT $0.650 2.13% 20,420,815 53.78% 17,534,604 46.18% 2,886,211 44,403 ORCL $0.550 1.95% 14,787,932 54.95% 12,071,031 44.86% 2,716,901 49,398 NWSA $0.490 2.57% 10,035,877 72.07% 3,877,168 27.84% 6,158,709 125,688 VALE $1.140 5.07% 12,270,221 31.54% 9,581,929 24.63% 2,688,292 23,582 WSRA $0.011 108.00% 10,334,164 55.93% 8,102,165 43.85% 2,231,999 2,066,666 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC with a Net Buy Volume of 9,562,621 shares and a Friction Factor of 318,754 shares. That means that it takes 318,754 more shares of buying than selling to move BAC higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
