United States : Avema Corporation buys Breakaway Services [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Avema Corporation, a leading global provider of telecom and wireless cost optimization software and services, has purchased Breakaway Services.

Breakaway Services is a leading provider of managing telecommunications services, assets and expenses for corporations. It is an AOTMP top-10 ranked expense management provider. As per the deal, Breakaway Services will continue to function out of its Denver location and will become part of Avema Corporation.

Under the partnership between the two companies, which was formed in January, Breakaway started employing Avema's Advanced Vendor Management (AVM) system to offer TEM to its customers. AVM offers the infrastructure to administer voice, data, and wireless processes and costs. Integrating all telecommunications data in one place, AVM helps companies to administer costs and inventory from any web browser. It also streamlines multiple vendor billing into one standard format and allows users to administer all telecom costs from the same application.

Roger Yang, CEO of Avema Corporation, said, "This acquisition of Breakaway further positions Avema as a premier telecom expense management (TEM) company. Our existing partnership with Breakaway has been very successful, with clients benefiting from the combined capabilities of our two organizations. I was impressed by Breakaway's dedication to client service, and concluded that the company would be an ideal addition to Avema." Shelley Cruikshank, CEO of Breakaway Services, said, "Our partnership with Avema has allowed us to offer more advanced reporting and analysis, and better self-service functionality to our clients. Avema's acquisition will enable us to more fully integrate our two companies, and draw on our shared TEM expertise." Ric Reifel, Chief Sales Officer of Breakaway Services, said, "To date, our customers have benefited from greatly increased efficiency through our partnership with Avema, which allows us to service more clients without adding headcount. This joint venture gives us a solid foundation to expand our TEM business." (c) 2012 Euclid Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Provided by Syndigate.info an Albawaba.com company
