SAULT STE MARIE, ONTARIO, Apr 11, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- AKR Global BPO, a global outsourcing services provider and part of the multinational AKR Global Group, announced today that it is expanding its footprint in the Phillipeans by opening a brand new call center to be open this August.

"Our Phillipeans location will serve our US-based clients in healthcare, banking, travel and hospitality, retail, and technology. Client engagements include customer care, customer acquisition, reservations, technical support, and collections. The new center will be the perfect blend of additional capacity and reduced costs. It will provide us with 25% more agent seats, globally and a substantial savings in lease cost, in a logistically better section of the country." He added, "We are expanding our client engagements for many of the world's leading brands. Our new center in the Phillipeans is the latest demonstration of our commitment to creating jobs."
