24M Technologies, Inc. President & CEO a Featured Moderator at DNV KEMA Utility of the Future Leadership Forum 2012

BURLINGTON, MA, Apr 11, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- President and CEO of 24M Technologies, Inc. Throop Wilder will be a featured moderator at DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability's fifth annual Utility of the Future Leadership Forum, "Pathway to Excellence." Wilder will moderate leading industry experts on a panel titled "Innovation and the Future" at the DNV KEMA forum, May 14-16, 2012, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, DC.

Wilder, who has more than 20 years of experience building start-ups, will use his practiced judgment and in-depth knowledge of the industry to moderate a discussion on the future of smart grid and technology innovation.

"Having participated in the build-out of the Internet's infrastructure through innovations in telecommunications equipment, I now see the same dynamics of possibility at work in the power grid," said Wilder. "Only this time, the resistance to change, especially here in the U.S., is and will be vastly greater, and the dislocations that much more dramatic. I'm excited to join leading industry thinkers to explore those innovations most likely to change our energy future." The 2012 Utility of the Future Leadership Forum features one and one-half days of discussions about the dynamic changes facing the utility industry and the paths that innovators have taken toward a sustainable energy future. Two CEO panels will explore the challenges of building the future utility in very different economic environments, while other panels will feature topics such as customers at the helm, sustainable power supply, and engaging customers in sustainability. Throughout the forum, there will be high-level networking opportunities to share perspectives, collaborate, and engage in dialog.

Senior executives are invited to join their peers in the Utility of the Future discussion to share ideas and discover opportunities that can help shape a more sustainable, reliable, profitable utility of the future. Register and learn more about the Utility of the Future Leadership Forum 2012.
