Brightree Announces Next-Generation Document Management Solution

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 10, 2012 Brightree LLC, the leading provider of billing and business management software solutions for the home medical equipment (HME/DMEPOS) market, announced today plans to deliver a next-generation document management solution that goes beyond document imaging to incorporate critical documents and data into key business processes. Brightree is developing the solution to fully integrate document-aware capabilities within the Brightree® interface, building on the efficiency and ease-of-use Brightree customers are accustomed to. With these new capabilities, HME providers can generate cleaner claims and more rapidly respond to audits.

“As the number of Medicare audits continues to climb and become an overwhelming burden on many providers, our customers are demanding more than a digital document file cabinet,” said Dave Cormack, president and CEO of Brightree. “With our new document management solution, we will deliver the most advanced technology to our customers, enabling them to directly access necessary documentation and streamline processes with intelligent, document-aware billing workflows.” The new Brightree document management solution will enable providers to efficiently capture, manage, share, and secure documentation. In addition, it will leverage patient, payer and product data from the Brightree platform to create intelligent workflows, guide users with tasks and alerts, and automate important processes. With easier access to document images and data, providers can reduce wasted time and steps in the search and retrieval of patient information and documents.

The solution will be available this summer through a subscription-based pricing model and will be sold, implemented and supported directly by Brightree. The Brightree team will preview the new document management capabilities in booth 1034 at the Medtrade Spring exhibition, April 10-12 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
