Panasonic Toughbook Invests In The Channel To Grow Markets With The Launch Of Its Engage Partner Programme

Apr 05, 2012 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Panasonic Toughbook announced its new Engage Partner Programme in the UK, as part of a multi-tiered channel approach to support and incentivise partners to grow new and existing markets.

Members of the Engage Partner Programme will receive dedicated support, promotions and rewards to drive Toughbook sales. The programme is centred around the Toughbook Engage Partner Portal, where depending on their tier, partners will have access to co-branded marketing campaigns, online product training, Marketing Development Funds (MDF), qualified leads, preferential pricing for registering deals, discounted demonstration units and the latest product launch information at the click of a mouse.

With more than a 65% share of the European rugged and durable notebook computer market - a market that continues to grow - Toughbooks are changing the way organisations operate in the most challenging of environments. They give mobile professionals access to data and applications in places where it was never before possible, across many different sectors, including automotive, construction, defence, emergency services, healthcare, retail, telecoms and utilities.

Oliver Ledgard, Toughbook Partner Account Manager, said: "We have restructured our approach to put the channel at the heart of our go to market strategy. Our award-winning products exceed expectations with market-leading customer satisfaction rates and failure rates six times lower than the industry average. Through our new programme we aim to work closely with our resellers and ISV's to help them confidently take our range of rugged solutions to new and existing markets." In the UK, Toughbook has signed distributors Avnet, ETC and Centerprise and currently has more than 60 registered value added resellers and ISV's. An elite tier of partners, called "Premier Partners", has also been established. These partners are entitled to additional rewards, benefits and support once they have met the higher threshold criteria.
