Alpheus Launches Network and High-speed Transport Services Portfolio to Agents

Mar 30, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Alpheus Communications, a provider of Texas metro-regional fiber and networking solutions, made its portfolio of services available to channel partners interested in selling its high-bandwidth transport, Internet access, data center and other networking solutions.

The announcement is being made from the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas, where Alpheus executives are on hand to meet with prospective channel partners in booth No. 238.

Working with Alpheus, the Company said agents can realize immediate benefits, including installations and quick time-to-commission, enabled by the flexibility of the Alpheus metro network and its fiber assets across Texas. Customers choosing Alpheus' services can connect business locations throughout the state with a variety of network solutions such as MPLS and E-LAN. Likewise, Alpheus offers a number of transport options, such as Ethernet, TDM and fiber.

According to a release, Alpheus also partners with managed services providers to deliver networking solutions designed to support mission-critical IT functions and cloud computing solutions through resilient SSAE 16-compliant data center platforms for colocation and disaster recovery.

Well known by customers and partners for its personalized service, Alpheus delivers customer support and installation intervals - all are propositions that channel partners can seamlessly deliver to their enterprise customers.

"Alpheus is a nimble, fast-paced company, and those qualities are valued by agents who want to rapidly meet their customers' needs while quickly recognizing revenue in the process," said Layne Levine, senior vice president, enterprise and channel sales, for Alpheus Communications. "Our support staff builds one-on-one rapport with customers, and that's key for agents who entrust their customer relationships with Alpheus. When customers or agents call Alpheus, they receive personalized service, not an endless phone tree of frustration." In addition to providing responsive service, Alpheus noted that it consistently delivers solutions because the company owns the network assets that connect to over 120 central offices and can reach more than 65 thousand on-net and Metro E-qualified buildings from Dallas-Fort Worth to the Rio Grande Valley, and metro areas in between.
