Alteva to Participate at 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas

Bridging the Divide between Premises- and Cloud-Based Solutions PHILADELPHIA, PA & LAS VEGAS, NV March 27, 2012 Alteva, a leading cloud-based Unified Communications (UC) solution provider and subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (NASDAQ: WWVY) (referred to as WVT Communications Group), today announced it will exhibit and participate at the 2012 Channel Partners Conference & Expo, the communications industry's only event exclusively for indirect sales organizations, March 26-29, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alteva s contribution to the conference will reveal the best ways [for sales agents] to demonstrate [for their end-user customers] the benefits of highly efficient and productive cloud-based UC solutions as compared to legacy telecommunications.

Louis Hayner, executive vice president and chief sales officer, and Guy Yasika, regional sales manager, will present for Alteva on the topic of, How to Write an Effective RFP that Bridges the Divide between Premises-based and Hosted Solutions, as part of the vendor presentations on Wednesday, March 28, from 3:00-3:50pm. Additionally, Alteva executives will showcase their latest product offerings, and discuss how they can help channel partners with their customers, and prepare for increased revenue streams in 2012 and beyond. Alteva, which employs an agent-based sales strategy, has proven that its growth initiatives work. For its parent company WVT Communications Group, Alteva led cloud communications revenues to increase by 226% for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared with the same period in the prior year, along with WVT Communications Group s backlog of business customers for UC services to reach a record level at the end of the year.

Consultants working with premises-based equipment know how to write a premises-based RFP, but with the rise of cloud-based technologies, it s important that an RFP encompasses both technologies. It s not as simple as comparing apples to oranges as they have different associated costs, benefits and delivery mechanisms, said Hayner. Attendees will learn how to evaluate cloud-based solutions, as well as the basic rules to follow that will help clients determine which direction is the best fit for them and then which types of questions should be included to complete an RFP. Providing the customer with all available options will help them make an informed decision about which solution best fits their organization.

Imagine how hard and frustrating it would be for a hosted provider to respond to questions in an RFP that do not fit their solution. Then, imagine how much harder it is for the consultant to compare the responses when the proposals from the hosted and premises-based providers are turned in, said Yasika. Many consultants have faced this situation, but may not even know it. We look forward to presenting attendees with a very important issue that could make a huge impact on their business.

Alteva will also participate in the Selling Techniques Networking Luncheon on Tuesday, March 27, from 11:30am-1:00 pm. The sold out event provides channel partners with a unique opportunity to talk with peers in a casual setting about successful sales strategies for the industry s hottest products, including cloud computing and communications, conferencing and collaboration, SIP trunking, MPLS and more. Hayner will participate as the industry thought leader for the UC category.

The Channel Partners Conference & Expo is the only networking and educational event in the communications industry dedicated to the indirect sales channel.
