Software Company Promises to Increase Investments in West Africa

(AllAfrica Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) A software company, SAP Technologies, says it is planning a huge investment ICT sector in the West African markets. According to the Vice President of SAP for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Tim Noble, at a media interactive session in Lagos, the company had made a lot of investments in West Africa especially in Nigeria, Ghana and the rest of Anglophone countries in Africa but will continue to invest more to expand the markets.


Noble noted that the company is targeting about forty four countries grouped into four regions in order to be closer to its customers.

The regions he listed are the English speaking countries in West Africa, Francophone region, East Africa and southern Africa region.

Noble maintained that through this structure, SAP has been able to do a lot of work in making sure that its train people, and also invest in communities where it's doing business in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.

He said, "It is not about us coming in and doing business, but it is also about making sure that we becoming indigenous organization.
