WebSafety introduces enhanced anti-cyberbullying, child-safety online and mobile phone software solutions

Mar 21, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Provider of child-protection and parental-notification mobile phone solutions, WebSafety Inc (OTCQB:WBSI), announced on Wednesday that its WebSafety anti-cyberbullying, child-safety online and mobile phone software solutions have been upgraded with anti-cyberbullying parental countermeasures.


WebSafety filters mobile phone texting or e-mail communications through a word-recognition library of words, slang terms and catch phrases involving cyberbullying, sexual behaviour and harmful activities.The solution is provisioned and activated with a child's mobile phone account and sends parents instant e-mail and text-message alerts if their child receives or sends mobile phone communications involving bullying, threats, or predatory comments, "sexting" or sexually inappropriate behaviour, as well as references to self-harm, suicide, drug use and gun use.

The new WebSafety online parental monitoring solution is available from the company's website at http://www.websafety.com and is offered as a USD7.99 monthly subscription. The WebSafety mobile phone application is also available as a free download.
