(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) VIENNA, Va., Jan. 23 -- Cubic issued the following news release: Cubic Global Tracking Solutions, the asset visibility solutions provider of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB), recently appointed Jim Kilfeather to the newly created position of Vice President of Engineering and Operations.

Kilfeather's major responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department for Cubic Global Tracking Solutions (http://www.cubic.com/Solutions/Cubic-Global-Tracking-Solutions), and overseeing software development, engineering and information technology.

Kilfeather brings over 26 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in developing and deploying advanced wireless and satellite communications systems, and the supporting IT infrastructure for mission critical systems. "We are fortunate to have Jim join our team and lead our Engineering and Operations organization. He is a highly accomplished engineering executive and his strong background in global geo-location and messaging systems, broadband communications networks, satellite earth stations, optimized terrestrial cellular systems, large-scale enterprise IT systems and data centers will assist Cubic Global Tracking Solutions as we continue to grow our business in new and existing markets," said Mary Ann Wagner, President of Cubic Global Tracking Solutions.
