Decision Lens Introduces the Latest Web-Based Version of Its Top Decision Making Software

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Decision Lens, the leading provider of desktop and Web-based collaborative decision making software, announces the debut of Decision Lens 3 (DL3), the latest iteration of its immensely popular enterprise software tool for prioritization and resource allocation.

Already widely used and in demand in both the public and private sectors for its capability of streamlining complex operational decisions, Decision Lens now offers even greater functionality with the arrival of DL3. The DL3 software includes features such as detailed visualizations, easy-to-use voting navigations and powerful analytics to instantly uncover the impact of changing priorities. Advanced resource allocation funding and project sequencing ensure the best "bang for the buck" among potential investments. Users can also dynamically populate fields with decision data from systems of record, integrating from existing applications and data sources.

Decision Lens 3 is built on a flexible Web Services architecture. The Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model can reduce DL3's standup time to a matter of hours, and allows DL3 to run in standard Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Mozilla and Safari.

"The focus on better decision making processes and tools should be an enterprise-wide capability for today's leading organizations to be competitive. We have shown the decisions can be improved by up to 80% with the use of Decision Lens, and that a portfolio can see a lift in total value of 20% or more with a smart tool like this. The introduction of DL3 is a great step forward for making the best enterprise-level decisions when the stakes are highest," said Decision Lens CEO John Saaty.

"Decision Lens already is used with the Joint Chiefs of Staff around budgeting issues, in the pharmaceutical industry for cutting-edge drug development, and among major league sports teams for player selection," Saaty added. "The software's applications in almost any market are virtually unlimited, and DL3 makes it even easier to get up and running, to solve some of the most complicated mission-critical business decisions any organization has to face." Decision Lens software is used widely amongst the most successful national and international organizations. Commercial clients include Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Siemens, and professional sports teams such as the Oakland A's and Calgary Flames among others. Governmental clients include the US Joint Staff, Navy, USDA, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, and San Francisco Municipal Transit Authority among many others.
