A Canadian Innovation: SYNTELL's Management-Robot(TM)

(Marketwire (Canada) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 7, 2011) - Editors Note: There is a photo associated with this press release.

Tomorrow, at the Business Intelligence (BI) Conference in Palais des Congres de Montreal, SYNTELL Inc. will officially launch its new revolutionary software, the Management-Robot(TM). It is the first software-robot to execute management tasks currently performed by today's managers in monitoring business operations.

Most everyone is familiar with manufacturing robots, but few software-robots have been introduced to the market so far. Currently applied to Human Resources, SYNTELL's Management-Robot(TM) will gradually evolve to encompass Material and Financial resources.

Of the few software-robots in operation to date, the most commonly known are in stock trading where most of today's transactions are performed by proprietary software-robots ("Algorithmic trading"). With SYNTELL's announcement, this new technology can now be applied to business management.

Doing the work for you What sets the Management-Robot(TM) apart from existing management software is that, as a robot, it does a portion of the managers' work, freeing them to concentrate on tasks with higher returns for the enterprise.

The Management-Robot(TM) constantly scrutinizes the business operation data to detect and inform managers of potential problems and guide their analysis in finding the root causes of the problems, helping them identify the proper corrective actions.

Instead of providing managers with tons of information to analyze and decipher, the Management-Robot(TM) does this work for the managers and directs management attention on specific issues requiring their involvement and action.

"Today's managers don't want more information; they're already drowning under it. What they need is the analysis done for them. Customized to each user's requirements, the Management-Robot(TM) relieves managers from the tedious task of collecting and analyzing information, freeing precious time to focus on more profitable ventures. ", observes Patrick Schwarz, president of SYNTELL Inc.

Mobile, Practical and Pragmatic When a discrepancy is detected by the Management-Robot(TM), the appropriate managers receive a notification on their PC, tablet (e.g., iPad) or smartphone (e.g., iPhone) The Management-Robot(TM) displays icons allowing managers direct access to the root cause data, helping them assess the scope and seriousness of the problem.

From that point on, the Management-Robot(TM) assumes total control of the business communications related to each discrepancy until complete resolution. It highlights all corrective actions planned and taken by the individuals involved. This promotes a paperless environment with an audit trail, something highly desirable to increase the productivity in any organization.

Finally, the Management-Robot(TM) provides each manager immediate access to a management dashboard and detailed information for further analysis of particular issues, providing an in-depth understanding of the state of operations: instantly, anytime, anywhere, on a variety of devices (e.g., PC, iPad, iPhone).
