ASW Express Launches All New Website For Buying Art Supplies, Art Materials, Frames and Much More

Nov 17, 2010 ( via COMTEX) -- SW's motto is, "We will not be undersold" and the company can back it up. ASW Express has a Price watch program that allows customers or would be shoppers to alert the company of competitor's or similar companies that sell the same product at a lower price. If the item is in fact lower at another online retailer and can be lowered at ASW according to the details, ASW will match and/or beat the price, furthermore, send the customer a $10 OFF coupon for a future order. ASW will also send promotions, offers, discounts and information directly to an email inbox making even easier to save on art supply purchases. The newly designed website offers an easy email sign up system in which to receive emails directly from ASW Express. A customer can easily join the email program, manage preferences, subscribe or un-subscribe from the program.

In addition to over 55,000 discount art supplies, ASW Express carries exclusive brands for artists, art enthusiasts or hobbyists to choose from such as: -Lukas Oil and Acrylic Paints -Matisse Acrylic Paints and Painting Sets -Turner Gouache and Painting Sets -Charvin Oils and Canvas -SoHo Acrylic and Oil Paints The exclusive brands are an alternative choice for any budget without compromising quality.

One thing to keep an eye out for is a special deal located inside the "My Account" area. ASW Express will offer a "Deal of the Day" type item at a discount price located in a registered users account. This makes for a nice surprise to log in and see an item at a discounted price.

A recent addition to the newly designed ASW Express website is the inclusion of the 2010 Holiday Sale Catalog online. The online catalog is presented in a "catalog flipper" style format allowing shopper to browse mailed versions of the catalog online. In the industry stands very few reliable online retailers to purchase art supplies from and ASW Express is proud to be the first to launch a "catalog flipper" style online.

In our interview with Michael Marchetta, VP of Ecommerce, we learned that the website was redesigned to meet the growing demands from customers, artists, students, institutions and hobbyists. He goes on to say that a lot of new technology was added into the website to make purchasing art supplies easier, communicating with artists more friendly, a cleaner quicker checkout, promotional programs and many more advanced features. Other exciting upcoming features on the way include pay pal (an alternative payment method), advanced search (to easily find and compare many items), product demonstration videos(to learn more about an item and set up instructions), eGift Cards(instantly send a gift card to friend or loved one) and mobile ecommerce.
