Xtel Adopts Salesforce.com as Customer Relationship Management Provider

MARLTON, N.J., Aug 05, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Xtel Communications Inc. (xtel.net) announces that it has adopted Salesforce.com, as its customer relationship management provider. Salesforce.com is one of the nation's leading providers of CRM products, with well-known companies including Siemens, Starbucks, Dell and Qualcom.

Xtel Communications was determined to do more than provide the best possible solutions to their customer base. They also wanted to ensure that they could offer the best possible customer service. They examined more than seven companies over a six-month period before choosing Salesforce.com.

After a lengthy evaluation period of various CRM solutions, Xtel Communications recently decided to go with Salesforce.com's CRM for its Customer Relationship Management system, says Brian Flynn, vice president. "Salesforce offers the best reporting and communication capabilities, while having the flexibility and scalability to keep up with Xtel's quickly growing customer base in a dynamic business landscape," Flynn said.

By integrating Salesforce CRM into the core of our operation, Xtel is now empowered to easily allow disparate work groups to share information and improve customer service, Flynn said.

For example, when a customer calls Xtel, Salesforce.com allows the customer service team to have immediate access to the entire account, including the service history. With a complete and instantaneous view of the account, the customer service team can both answer questions more quickly and also offer more accurate advice.

"Every department now tracks, in real time, its key operational metrics, which allows Xtel to continuously improve upon its response time to its customers," Flynn said. "The end result is an improved customer experience and quick responses to customer questions and requests." About Xtel Communications Since 1994, Xtel has been providing small and medium-size businesses and public entities including townships, counties, school districts, police departments and municipal utility authorities with high-quality voice, voice over IP, Internet access, hosted PBX, integrated solutions and managed services.
