BandTel Joins ShoreTel Technology Partner (TPP) Program

Certification of SIP Trunking for ShoreTel (News - Alert) Platform Extends Ability to Seamlessly
Integrate Communications with Business Processes

Newport Beach, CA, Thursday April 17, 2008 – BandTel (News - Alert), LLC (“BandTel”) today announced it has partnered with ShoreTel®, Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOR), a leading provider of Pure IP Unified Communications (News - Alert) solutions, to integrate BandTel SIP Trunking with ShoreTel’s distributed unified communication platform. BandTel SIP Trunking extends the ability of ShoreTel’s unified communications solutions to allow businesses to seamlessly integrate communications with business processes for a more collaborative and productive enterprise. With this certification, the companies’ joint customers will have access to a superior quality, economical IP replacement service for traditional dedicated lines such as T-1, DSL, or PRI for use in accommodating long distance telephone calls.

By offering extremely reliable and scalable solutions that are easy to install and use, ShoreTel enables businesses of any size to seamlessly integrate communications with business processes, creating a more collaborative and productive enterprise. ShoreTel’s distributed architecture extends enterprise-class voice services to every office and outpost, keeping employees fully connected wherever they go. ShoreTel continually delights its customers by offering the best products and the best services for the lowest total cost of ownership.

“We are pleased that BandTel has become one of ShoreTel’s technology partners,” said Mark Arman, vice president of business development for ShoreTel. “With solutions from both BandTel and ShoreTel, customers will receive the highest level of voice quality and unprecedented reliability.

BandTel delivers “pure” SIP trunking solutions to customers as an affordable, high quality alternative to traditional leased line services. Many larger businesses have been using dedicated circuits such as T-1, DSL, or PRI as a means to originate and receive long distance telephone services at dramatically reduced rates when compared to direct dialed services. BandTel SIP Trunking allows businesses of all sizes to take advantage of this opportunity via the certified interoperability afforded by ShoreTel and BandTel. Unique from many other vendors purporting to offer SIP trunks, BandTel does not offer services that are competitive with partner such as ShoreTel but rather focuses on a synergistic relationship with its partners and their customers.

“Businesses today are seeking reliable service providers that delivery high quality, exceptional value, and do not require the customer to be the technical expert,” said Chris Dunk, BandTel CEO. “By joining with ShoreTel, we can deliver seamless services with certified interoperability that deliver on the promises of SIP and Internet telephony.”
