TuVox Sales Surge as Market Embraces Enterprise Speech Software

TUVOX SALES SURGE AS MARKET EMBRACES ENTERPRISE SPEECH SOFTWARE

Fifth Successive Quarter of Record Growth, Significant New Customer Wins And Increased Activity With Partners And Existing Customers Fuels Company Momentum

LOS ALTOS, Calif. – August 31, 2004 - TuVox, the pioneer in enterprise software for speech applications, announced today its fifth consecutive quarter of record sales and customer growth. During the third quarter of fiscal 2004, TuVox secured a number of key new customer wins, including Columbia House, Netflix, Oriental Trading Company and the United States Postal Service. The company also delivered additional applications to many of its existing customers, such as MCI, TiVo, Activision and Definity Health.

“Due to the growing awareness of the benefits of voice self-service, competition in the market has accelerated,” said Art Schoeller, senior analyst, Yankee Group. “Organizations are looking to vendors like TuVox who can cost effectively deploy highly customized automated speech applications quickly and easily.”

“TuVox’s enterprise software solution allows any company to quickly and cost-effectively design, develop, deploy and maintain sophisticated call routing and voice self-service applications,” said Larry Miller, president and CEO, Tuvox. “Since this time last year, TuVox sales have increased over 800 percent and our customer base has quadrupled. Our increased momentum is a clear indication of the market’s acceptance of TuVox’s enterprise software for speech applications.”

Contributing to the dramatic customer growth is the effectiveness of the TuVox Partner Program, announced late last year. Leveraging the strength of its partner relationships, TuVox has successfully secured several joint customer wins with a number of key partners, including Convergys, Genesys, ScanSoft, Verascape, and VoiceGenie.

As a result of both the increased acceptance and success of its enterprise speech software and its concerted focus on world class customer service and caller satisfaction, TuVox was recently awarded a CRM Excellence Award for 2004 by the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC™)'s Customer Inter@ction Solutions® magazine.

“With our strong performance and accelerating momentum heading into the last months of 2004, combined with industry analysts’ predictions of a multi-billion dollar market for voice automation solutions, we are confident in our prospects for continued growth,” continued Miller. “Our customers recognize the value of our enterprise speech software and appreciate our dedication and commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer and caller satisfaction. As more companies realize the potential benefits of sophisticated speech applications, we expect the market acceptance of the TuVox solution to continue to increase into 2005 and beyond.”
